The Prayer

Dear Almighty Lord God Jesus Christ,

I thank You for this day, for this is the day that the Lord has made, and I will rejoice and be glad in it.

I thank You for my ability to see, hear, speak, feel, and experience Your good creation today and every day.

I am blessed because You are a loving, forgiving, understanding, and caring God. You have done so much for me, and yet You keep on blessing me.

I ask for Your forgiveness.

Forgive me for everything I have ever done, said, or thought that was not pleasing to You.

I now repent and ask for Your grace.

Please keep me safe, O God, from all danger, hurt, and harm.

Help me to start this day and every day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude.

Let me make the best of each and every day and clear my mind so that I can hear from You.

Broaden my mind so that I can accept all things.

Let me not whine or complain over things I cannot control, for all things work together for my good and for Your glory.

And when I'm pushed beyond my limits, give me the best response—one that says:

"Alleluia, Praise the Lord, and Thanks be to the Most High God!"

I know that when I cannot pray, You listen to the prayer of my heart.

Use me to do Your will.

Continue to bless me so that I may be a blessing to others.

Keep me strong so that I may help the weak.

Keep me uplifted so that I may have words of encouragement for the discouraged.

I pray for:

• Those who are lost and cannot find their way, that they may come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
• Those who are misjudged, misguided, misused, and misunderstood.
• Those who don’t know You intimately.
• Those who will ignore this prayer instead of sharing Your love.
• Those who do not believe, that they may come to know You.

But I thank You, Lord, that I do believe, for God changes people and God changes things.

I pray for my family and loved ones.

I pray for each and every household, that there may be peace, love, and joy in their homes.

I pray that they will be out of debt, their financial needs will be met, and they will have more than enough to be a blessing to others.

I pray for every eye that reads this prayer.

May they come to know that there is no problem, no circumstance, no situation greater than You.

For You, O God, are greater than all, greater in all, greater through all, and greater upon all.

You, the Most High God Almighty, are truly the Greatest of All.

I pray for my enemies.

I forgive those who have used, abused, and spoken against me.

I ask for Your mercy upon them, for they do not know what they are doing.

I release all bitterness and place my battles in Your loving hands.

For You, O God, fight my battles for me.

I declare and believe:

These words will be received and accepted into the hearts of every person who reads or speaks them.

In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray, believing, receiving, and accepting Your miracles in my life today and every day.

For Your divine favor is my heritage.

In Jesus’ name, Amen and Amen!
